As Vice President of Finance, Jawanza is responsible for overseeing MSA’s financial operations and leading the finance team. She joined MSA in 2023 as Director of Governmental Finance & Grants, serving in that role for just over two years before being promoted to her current position.
With experience across government and nonprofit organizations, Jawanza brings a strong background in financial management, budgeting, grants, compliance, and strategic planning. She has held senior leadership roles managing complex financial operations and has worked closely with executive leadership, committees, and boards, to support sound decision-making and long-term financial sustainability.
Jawanza holds an MBA with a concentration in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and she brings hands-on experience with a variety of financial and ERP systems to support effective, data-driven financial stewardship.
