Join us in our work to advance shared prosperity, create strong economies, and improve quality of life in downtowns and neighborhood commercial districts.

This summer, East Somerville Main Streets is piloting a three-part Block Party event series. Each block party features different small businesses from our commercial district. Highlighted here is the second block party featuring restaurants Rincon Mexicano, Michette, and local brewery, Small Change Brewing. We also welcomed the neighborhood's newest print studio, New Impressions Print Studio, local honey vendor, Ploughed Hill Honey, and local artists Lucy Nguyen and Kristen Hale Design. A Trike Called Funk provided the music and dancing. Beyond supporting these businesses directly, the block parties increase foot traffic and vibrancy in the commercial district.
